Acute is a sister company of ASTICO (A.S. Trading and Importing Co.) of Cairo, Egypt. Established in 2002 by Director/Owner Ahmed El Taweel, ASTICO has nearly 20 years of construction, power generation, and transportation procurement experience. Acute was founded in 2016 in partnership with Co-founder/VP of Operations, Jacinthe Cloutier-Carneiro, as a New Jersey based sales and logistical hub for US based transactions. Today, they are supported by a team of 8 professionals with administrative, procurement, logistical, and engineering expertise.
